Description
While currently in restoration treatment, an original Federschwert was rediscovered in a local museum, repeating the swords depicted on the portraits of the kings of Belgium’s oldest fencing Guild, the oldest continuously operating fencing club in the world – De Hallebardiers.
This Feder reaches a length of 154.5 cm. The blade length is 118.7 cm. This Feder, although a training substitute for a sword, is dated to the XVII- XVIII century. The thickness of the tip of the blade is 1mm (measured as 0.5mm, but the original is badly beaten with rust).
It is a very unusual sword and it looks very cool.
